6 th World Ice Fishing Championship – Augustów 2009
POLAND
In 2009 year Poland and Polish Angling Association is the o organizator of Ice Fishing World Championship.
On the ground with wather anomalies (without ice lid – placid winter) we propose two fixed dates of their organisation:
I time-limit: 14 - 15 February 2009
On incidents of defect posibility play Championshiop in first time-limit (defect of respective ice thickness):
II time-limit: 28 February - 01 March 2009
Championship will be play on one lake of Mazurian’s ground lake with Championship base in Serwy village - commune Płaska, 20 kilometres by Augustów
Proposed lakes are:
Serwy, Białe Augustowskie, Necko, Orle (Orlewo) and Paniewo, Wiżajny,
Oficial team composition: 6 participants + coach + manager
Participation paymant: 1500 PLN per person
Paymant include participation:
- Organisation charges (background, background protection, jury, medical keepers, WOPR keeping, Championship’s secretariate, warm drinks during Championship, transport, gifts, computerized support )
- accommodation and repasts (from Thursday’s dinner to Monday’s breakfast),
- opening banquet,
- closure banquet,
- viand for voyage,
The organisator assert transport during Championship and transport on truck Warsaw – acomodation place – Warsaw either.
- Accompanying payment: 1200 PLN per person (accommodation and repasts (from Thursday’s dinner to Monday’s breakfast),

• 7:00 - 8:30 – breakfast
• 9:00 – going to oficial training

• 16:30 - 19:00 – rest after dinner
• 19:00 – supper
• 20:30 – debriefing team managers
Saturday
• 7:00 - 8:30 – breakfast
• 8:30 – going to I round of Championship
• 10:00 – beginning of I round
• 13:00 – ending of I round
• 14:00 – pronounce the results of I round
• 15:00 - 16:30 – dinner
• 16:30 - 19:00 – rest after dinner

Sunday
• 7:00 - 8:30 – breakfast
• 8:30 – going to II round of Championship
• 10:00 – beginning of II round
• 13:00 – ending of II round
• 14:00 – pronounce the results of II round
• 15:00 - 16:30 – dinner
• 17:00 – pronounce and post up the results of Championship
• Free time
• 19:00 - 22:00 – closure banquet, give the goblets and medals
Monday
• 8:00 - 9:00 – breakfast
• 10:00 – departure

Minimal length of ice fishing rod by rulet mandatory in Poland is 30 centimetres.
Teams prefatory application please send till 31December 2008.
The final date of the Championship will be passed till 20 January 2009.

Recipes relating fish's protections which are in force in Poland:
• Pikeperch (Stizostedion lucioperca), Pike (Esox lucius): under protection, the prohibition of fishing
• Size limits for:
- Ide (Leuciscus idus) – 25 cm
- Chub (Leuciscus cephalus) – 25 cm
