With a rehashed plot and unimpressive animation, there's nothing wild about The Wild.

The Wild | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Derek Adams Time Out The animation here impresses more than in the equally defunct Madagascar, but everything else smacks of an easy money-making exercise of such dimwitted inanity even the youngest kids will see through it. Jun 24, 2006 Full Review The Wild | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Helen O'Hara Empire Magazine The Wild roars back from a rocky opening act to a storming last reel, just managing to claw its way above comparisons with Madagascar. Jedd L I enjoyed it as a child and I enjoy it now. Clocks is still peak. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/09/24 Full Review Thomas R New York City looks so dead despite being labeled the city that never sleeps Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/22/24 Full Review Артем Б I see no reason why this cartoon exists at all. Because it is absolutely rotten, raw and apart from the realism of the characters, it has absolutely nothing special. Another problem with such cartoons is that they get old over time, as was the case with the "Dinosaur" 2000 year movie, where they focused only on visual realism, but the plot was unbelievably boring. Some people say that this is a plagiarism of "Madagascar", but it's hard to say. Because there is no known situation like between "A Bug's Life" and "Antz" or "Road to El Dorado" and "The Emperor's New Groove".And it's even hard for me to realize that they did a good job on the visuals here, but its plot makes this film completely undeserving of its existence.
